What we collect, and what we do with it.
Plain English, because that is how we write everything. Last updated October 21, 2026.
Who we are
Cornerpost LLC is an owner-run design studio in Austin, Texas. We build websites and brand identities. This page covers cornerpost.studio and the ways you contact us through it.
What we collect
- The contact form. Your name, email, your website address if you give it, and whatever you type in the message. That is all the form asks for.
- Email, calls, and texts. If you email hello@cornerpost.studio or call or text (512) 806-0817, we keep the conversation so we can answer you and remember what we talked about.
- Nothing automatic. The site does not use advertising trackers, and it does not set cookies to follow you around the web. The server (which we run on DigitalOcean) keeps standard server logs (things like your IP address and the pages requested) for security, the same as every website.
What we do with it
- We use what you send us to answer you, look at your website if you asked us to, and, if you become a client, to do the work.
- We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing. Ever.
- We do not add you to a mailing list. If you hear from us, it is because you asked us something.
Who else touches it
The site runs on a server we operate ourselves. The contact form is received by that server and forwarded to our email, which runs on Google Workspace; Google handles your message under its own privacy terms and is used only to get it to us. No third-party form service, analytics, or font provider is involved.
How long we keep it
Enquiries we keep for about a year, in case you come back. Client records we keep for as long as we work together and for a reasonable time afterward, because the agreement and the invoices are records for both of us.
Your choices
Ask us what we have about you and we will tell you. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless we are required to keep a record (a signed agreement, an invoice). Write to hello@cornerpost.studio.
Clients
If you are a client, what we collect and keep about your business and your customers is set out in your agreement with us, which says more than this page does and takes precedence over it.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
